Trophy Bag Kooler Game Fresh System
Once you harvest an animal, it’s important to clean it and get it cooled down.
Once you have field dressed the animal and cleaned it you want to spray The Game Fresh Spray™ inside the body cavity to eliminate the initial bacteria. If it’s cool outside, below 40º, hang the animal to chill. Be sure the animal does not freeze. Once the core temperature of the animal is reduced you can place it in the Trophy Bag Kooler™ to prevent freezing. Periodically reapply The Game Fresh Spray™ to help control the bacteria. Bacteria will continue to grow due to the normal breakdown or rigor stages. The Game Fresh System™ helps to better manage bacteria by reducing the pH levels.
The perfect temperature for aging meat is 36º to 40º and controlling the bacteria is extremely important in the cooling off process.
